چکیده
The effects of hydrogen charge on the formation vacancy-type defects in cold-drawn pearlitic steel were investigated by using positron lifetime spectroscopy, and correlation between susceptibility to embrittlement was discussed. Pearlitic steels aged at 300°C 450°C after cold-drawing used. Both tensile deformed subsequently fractured samples prepared slow strain rate tests (SSRT) with without cathodic charge. Average increased increasing both case 300°C-aged 450°C-aged steels. There is no remarkable effect average results mean applying increases amount lattice such as dislocation or vacancy, although has little effect. On contrary, vacancy cluster component hydrogen-charged SSRT, an increase concentration promoted clustering furthermore. showed more than steel, implying that lamellar structure prevented clustering. Fracture strains SSRT decreased due embrittlement, fracture all tested a strong dependence degree That means big fracturing steels, detrimental attributable promotion

Analysis of Fatigue Crack Paths in Cold Drawn Pearlitic Steel
In this paper, a fracto-metallographic analysis was performed on the cracked specimens of cold drawn pearlitic steel subjected to fatigue tests. Fatigue cracks are transcollonial and exhibit a preference for fracturing pearlitic lamellae, with non-uniform crack opening displacement values, micro-discontinuities, branchings, bifurcations and frequent local deflections that create microstructural...
متن کاملMicrostructure Evolution during Tensile Deformation of a Nanostructured Bainitic Steel
In situ neutron diffraction experiment was used during tensile testing at room temperature to examine the changes on the percentage and texture of both ferrite and austenite in a nanocrystalline bainitic steels transformed at two different temperatures 200°C and 300oC for different times to achieve the same phase percentages. Both samples showed an inadequate capability of austenite to transfor...
متن کاملSuperplastic deformation induced by cyclic hydrogen charging
Deformation under the combined action of external stress and cyclic hydrogen charging/discharging is studied in a model material, titanium. Cyclic charging with hydrogen is carried out at 860 °C, which repeatedly triggers the transformation between hydrogen-lean -Ti and hydrogen-rich -Ti. Due to bias from the externally applied tensile stress, the internal mismatch strains produced by this isot...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Tensile Testing of Carbon Steel in High Pressure Hydrogen
An infrastructure of new and existing pipelines and systems will be required to carry and to deliver hydrogen as an alternative energy source under the hydrogen economy. Carbon and low alloy steels of moderate strength are currently used in hydrogen delivery systems as well as in the existing natural gas systems. It is critical to understand the material response of these standard pipeline mate...
